Job Description

Improve the accuracy and reliability of the Sales Plan by owning baseline forecasts and coordinating the projections from the Field Sales team to deliver the most accurate estimate of customer demand while managing exceptions to enhance the responsiveness of the organization's objective of demand fulfillment/creation



  • Consistently achieve sustainable Sales Forecast Accuracy (SFA) improvement: (accuracy level and variability, bias balance).
  • Prepare Annual/Quarterly/Monthly & Weekly sales forecast per channel/region/category against the forecast and advice on +/- achievement in line with the Sales Plan.
  • Sense check if the submitted regional/channel/customer sales forecast are aligned to the sales commitments. Analyze historical sales data to guide sales planning.
  • In collaboration with the Sales Manager, consolidate MSR presentations focusing on forecasts reviews by customer/territory and SKU. 
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis; Sales Performance evaluation as required. Leading the preparation of Daily/Weekly Sales Review Presentations across the Departmental functions.
  • Analyze Third Party Agency (Merchandizing & Trade Development) daily/weekly/monthly reports; Ensure they are shared timely; sense check accuracy; Monitor performance vs targets and highlight pain points.
  • Manage the SAT/SFA sales tool and ensure effective utilization. 


Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Finance/Economics/Statistics/Operations Management/Business related field from a recognized institution with attention to detail, resilient, work under pressure and deliver accurate output.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in manufacturing, sales/marketing in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
  • Demonstrate detailed understanding of the core sales capabilities of Sales Analysis and Demand/Supply Planning.
  • Experience in generating sales reports and communicating to field sales force.
  • Understanding the operations of Sales & Marketing third party agencies
  • Good Understanding of Business Data Analytics and Advanced Excel/Spreadsheets/Databases. Knowledge of at least 2 ERP systems and Sales Force Automation/SAT sales tools. Training in T-SQL, Power BI, Kaizen etc.  Project Management is an added advantage.
