NCF specializes in the production of various types of quality foods and ingredients, like, Canned, frozen and dehydrated fruits and vegetables, Herbs & spices, Tomato paste, Jams & Marmalades, Sauce, Pickles, Relishes, Bakery ingredients, and beverages. 

Responsibilities

  1. Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
  2. Estimate costs and prepare budgets
  3. Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  4. Monitor production to resolve issues
  5. Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
  6. Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
  7. Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
  8. Ensure output meets quality standards
  9. Enforce health and safety precautions
  10. Report to upper management 

Requirements and skills

  1. Deep knowledge of production management
  2. Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  3. Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  4. Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  5. Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
  6. Outstanding communication ability
  7. Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
  8. Attention to detail
  9. Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
  10. BSc or Diploma in Food Science and Technology
  11. Minimum 3 years experience as production manager/supervisor
