Position within the Organisation
The Global Design, Monitoring, Reporting and Learning Officer is a member of the Policy, Learning and Advisory Services Team, which leads Interpeace’s policy and thought leadership work, and links Interpeace’s peacebuilding research and scholarship with the organisation’s peacebuilding practitioner/field experience. The Unit explores and develops innovative policy proposals and practical initiatives relating to peacebuilding and interacts with the United Nations and other international organisations and actors in order to advance their thinking and lift their peacebuilding capacities. The Team leads in fostering a policy learning culture in the Interpeace. The Unit is also responsible for ensuring a comprehensive, evidence-based, effective and institution-wide framework for monitoring and evaluation of Interpeace’s peacebuilding including harvesting data and findings that can be used for reporting obligations and communications purposes. The officer works primarily in collaboration with other Monitoring and Evaluation colleagues as part of a team, and is required to interact with colleagues undertaking practical peacebuilding in the field as well as colleagues responsible for communications and donor liaison.
Purpose and General Overview
The Global Design, Monitoring, Reporting and Learning Officer plays a key role in Interpeace’s knowledge and information management, responsible for advising design, monitoring and evaluation as well as learning processes of country programmes as well as shaping and socialising institutional DMEL framing and guidance. The Officer is also responsible for ensuring the timely capture, recording and dissemination of data and other information demonstrating Interpeace’s progress and results (internally and externally), as well as supporting learning processes within Interpeace. The Officer contributes to developing and strengthening Interpeace’s institutional reporting frameworks and provides guidance and technical support to Interpeace colleagues.

Qualifications:
Candidates with relevant qualifications and experience in Design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (DMEL), a tertiary degree, and working proficiency in English and French, are invited to apply.
