Our client in the outdoor marketing and advertising industry would like to recruit a business development manager to generate profitable and sustainable sales of the company’s products and services to new and existing clients through personal selling efforts and relationship-building techniques.

 

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Foster and develop relationships to understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan for more business.
  • Think strategically seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
  • Work strategically to carrying out sales forecasts and necessary planning to implement operational changes required to improve business.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing with customers, and suppliers to close deals.
  • Ensure timely billing and debt collection as per the agreed plan.
  • Proper stakeholder management including suppliers, vendors, and services providers, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements. 
  • Prepare various sales reports in accordance with company requirements.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field
  • Successful previous experience in sales and consistently meeting or exceeding the target
  • Demonstrated ability to network, communicate, influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
