Main Purpose of Position
To effectively and safely manage a branch business unit ensuring that contractual obligations are met in full, agreed service and operational standards are achieved, costs are kept within budget and revenue is increased in line with budget To continually review and improve branch profitability and security. Overall accountability for HSE, Manned Security, Cash in Transit (where applicable) and people management.

Manage the effective and efficient use of labour and company assets,
i.e. vehicles, equipment, uniform and consumables.
Ensure all assets are well maintained, accounted for, and utilized
correctly to optimize life of the asset.
Ensure invoicing is accurate and submitted by the agreed deadlines
Adhere to company procedures and policies for expenses/ cash floats
and other financial controls.
Manage all internal and external reconciliation procedures and policies.
Ensure customer contracts are signed, valid and that the scope of work
Ensure that claims against the Company are prevented or minimized.

Carry out vetting of personnel as directed
Set and agree objectives and performance standards. Monitor and

Arrange for attendance of subordinates at scheduled training

Set and maintain acceptable standards of uniform
Set and maintain a minimum standard of behaviour for all employees, as
required by G4S’s code of conduct and disciplinary code.
Ensure that all disciplinary actions are conducted in compliance with
Company policies and procedures.
Hold branch management team meetings and communicate to all
branch staff through those briefings
Effective management of
Review and deploy resources, and thereafter continuously review
operations to improve profitability and customer service levels. Make
changes as necessary
Maintain all customer SLAs and address deficiencies
Undertake monthly face to face meetings with each customer at a
minimum and complete monthly KPI scores with the customer to assess
Monitor customer service achievement daily
Forecast and order uniform, equipment and consumables to ensure just
in time stock holding.
Carry out weekly stock checks and monthly 100% physical stock counts
Monitor and verify fuel consumption
Comply with the CIT MSPs and ROCC at all times
Ensure that all relevant legislation is adhered to and that Company
procedures and standards are adhered to.
Meet all Health and Safety standards including the maximum driving
hours for drivers and vehicle speed limits
Perform regular audits for self-assessment to ensure conformance to

Undertake risk assessments using the G4S template
Collaborate with the sales department to prepare quotations/ proposals
Monitor and assess the market & competitors.
Upsell new services in line with customers’ needs and risks.
Ensure all vehicles are correctly branded and maintained

Maintain all HSE policies and procedures
Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and
monitoring of the branch/region/national safety plans.
Participate in safety forums, meetings and safety talks
Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
Discuss all safety incidents on all levels
Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety
Attend safety education and refresher programmes
Comply with safety policies and procedures at workplace
Distribute safety information as and when required
Wear protective clothing all the time
Skills and Attributes
3 year tertiary qualification or 5 years supervisory experience in a security business, or police or military leadership position
2 years licensed driver
A minimum of 3 years supervisory /managerial experience in a manned security / Cash in Transit operation
Minimum of 5 years security services experience
Previous responsibility for budgets
Proven experience in Customer Relationship Management
